No, August can't be over yet :)

I always have friends who get mad when I have no posts for a month. August is both a month of extreme relief and extreme busyness. Relief because the kids are back in school, schedules are made again, and life can go on as planned. Busy because of the preparation to get them to school, and on schedule again. Never fear, I will post again soon. I have lots to tell, especially after this weekend. My 31st birthday is Friday, and my husband and I are taking our first weekend without kids in 11 years for a weekend retreat in California. I would really love to be the sweet mother who says she's going to miss her kids terribly, but I know they will be safe with Grandma and Grandpa :)
