Children get really, really, REALLY hyper after drinking a whole soda each to themselves.
Lesson learned: No soda, or at least no more shopping after one (Yes we had to go shopping again!)
You will see everyone you didn't want to see when you go to the store in your husbands torn overalls and forget to put your makeup on.
Lesson learned: Don't put on "whatever" first thing in the morning until you can "really" get dressed. You realize you are still wearing it a 7 that night.
You will buy 14 dollars worth of nutritious food, and 103 dollars of cookie makings, frosting, sodas, chips, and anything else that your children thought looked good at the time.
Lesson learned: Go grocery shopping with a list.
It is not wise to yell at your children that you don't care if they put something outside or the toilet, just get it out of your bed.
Lesson learned: If you scream out some nonsensical thing, that will be the one thing your child does.
Stale hard biscuits from breakfast don't "fit down the hole"
Lesson Learned: See above
Stale hard biscuits turn to mush while floating in the toilet, and shouldn't be scooped out.
Lesson Learned: Don't scold too soon after children put something in the toilet they shouldn't. They try to make things right again.
The window of the van makes a mighty fine cutting knife for play-doh, though it does get a bit sticky up inside it.
Lesson Learned: If the children come home with Play-doh, throw it away before they have a chance to play with it. Play-doh is of the devil.
How many more days left of this do I have?
